Alan FairweatherAlan is a successful business advisor with a sound working knowledge in Supply Chain Development, Sales and Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and World Class/Best Practice initiatives. His capabilities are further supported by many years "Hands-on" sales experience as a Salesman, Sales Trainer and Sales Manager. He has successfully run two sole trader companies specialising in delivering Business Development principles to both Micro and SME businesses.

Alan is currently engaged within a "Regeneration" project with a leading Engineering Association, and over a three-year period has been directly responsible for implementing Business Development Programmes to enhance competitiveness for a membership of three hundred plus members. The programme to date includes:
  • A Business Development Training Programme
  • Sales and Marketing Training
  • Implementing Supply Chain Network Groups in the key sectors of: Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Packaging and Composites
  • Implementing a Toolmakers Lease Scheme during '06 and an Engineering based Lease Scheme for Process Control Software
Alan was selected by SEEDA as a Cluster and Supply Chain Advisor from more than thirty candidates.
He was also "headhunted" into Regional Supply Network as a Sales Trainer, where he undertook a key role as leading Supply Chain Advisor and Trainer to SME companies.

During his successful career, he has won contracts with Cosworth, Allied Signal, Rolls Royce, Thames Water, British Steel, Kraft and British Rail.
