 Gerry is BAC accredited, a Counsellor and Senior
Trainer. His training style is facilitative and supportive, with an abundance of relevant examples
and a humorous approach. In addition, his counselling experience allows him to provide individual awareness

Gerry is a freelance trainer and counsellor with a wide ranging experience of facilitating training and workshop groups in commerce, industry, local authorities and emergency services both nationally and internationally. His expertise includes Stress Management, Bullying and Harassment, Conflict and Aggression, Coaching and Mentoring, Time Management and Post Trauma Stress Management. He served 30 years service in the Metropolitan Police leading teams of uniform and detective officers and completed a comprehensive series of trainers' training courses. In the latter years of his service he managed a team of trainers at Heathrow Airport identifying training needs, designing and delivering innovative training for 500 operational police officers and civilian staff. He retired in 1995 and now runs his own successful training and consultancy business. He has a Diploma in Counselling and has for some years been BACP Accredited. He has also contributed a chapter on trauma to the recently published Tolleys book 'Managing Stress in the Workplace'. Recent clients have included:
