An accomplished musician and vocalist, Paul is a creative business analyst,
training and management consultant with over fifteen years' experience
helping individuals and businesses in the public and private sectors
prepare for and cope with change.Originally headhunted by a top consultancy firm, he went on to develop an interest and a unique specialism in business and vocal communication. He started coaching people in voice work in 1992 and was struck by the impact this had on people's overall confidence and performance in all areas of their life. Over the years he has developed his own approach to vocal development from practical experience and research. It is this work that now forms the basis of the Communic8 programme, a programme specifically designed to develop the personal impact and advanced communication skills of senior executives and managers in business. Over the years he has coached a diverse range of clients from a variety of backgrounds, including board directors, senior managers, trainers, coaches, psychologists, musicians and West End actors. He is a founder member of the Performance Foundation, an association that brings together people from business, psychology and the performing arts who are interested in looking at and researching all aspects of performance within arts and business. He is also a member of the British Voice Association and a qualified mediator, accredited by Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. He still occasionally works as a session musician and composer. Quotes about Paul Ogden's workshops and coaching: "The workshop was received with great enthusiasm despite some initial reservations. "The voice and communication session was a great thought-provoker. I really enjoyed it. It was good to get out of my comfort zone, and I believe my vocal ability has improved. You were fun, engaging, listened, encouraged and did motivate me." Senior Manager, Legoland. |
